Grade S Bow Screw Shackle – Galvanised

The Grade S Bow Screw Shackle – Galvanised is a heavy-duty lifting connector designed for secure and reliable connections in lifting and rigging applications across marine, agricultural, mining, and engineering industries.

Manufactured from Grade S steel and finished with a hot dip galvanised coating, this bow shackle offers excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in demanding environments. The bow configuration allows for multi-directional loading, while the screw pin design enables quick installation and removal.

Each shackle is clearly marked with its Working Load Limit (WLL), quality grade, batch number, nominal size, and supplier identification. All shackles are proof tested to 2 × WLL and feature a minimum break force of 6 × WLL, ensuring maximum safety and compliance.

Manufactured to Australian Standard AS 2741, these shackles are suitable for lifting applications. Test certificates are available upon request. Black finish is also available across all sizes upon request.

High temperature usage notice

When used in elevated temperature environments:

• 200°C – 300°C: Derate working load by 10%
• 300°C – 400°C: Derate working load by 25%
• Above 400°C: Shackles must not be used
